Outer Furnitures Co-founders Jiake Liu and Terry Lin both asked the sharks for $750k for 4% equity and they explained the details to the sharks about their product and told them about the features and speciality of the product
Jiake holds 60% of the company, Terry holds 25% and Jiake’s family holds 15% share. This is the easy breakdown of 100%.
Various Sharks offered them deals but in the end, Shark Lori Greiner made an offer of a $750,000 loan at 3% interest for 5% equity and a $30/unit royalty until $1 million is paid back which was accepted by Jiake and Terry.
